Our catering company was created from a shared love of entertaining, food and hospitality. We strive to create seasonal menus that feature local farms’ produce and meats and purchase local and organic ingredients whenever available.
Chef Jeff Ulrich hails from the Midwest and attended culinary school in Scottsdale, Arizona. He's been cooking for over 20 years and his restaurant experience includes time at Mr.B’s Bistro in New Orleans and at Grace in Chicago – where he supported a Food & Wine Best New Chef winner. While he loves the American classics, Jeff also enjoys cooking a wide variety of global cuisines including Spanish, Asian fusion, Italian, and French. Want a tapas dinner? Delicate home-made raviolis? Wine pairings with a seasonal American menu? Homemade corned beef hash and duck egg “hangover special” breakfast? We’ve done them all.
Jeff spent the last seven years in New York City as a caterer and personal chef to several celebrities. Having re-located to Austin in 2012, he is reveling in the local music scene and inspired by the abundant farmer’s markets. Jeff’s favorite foods include: bacon, beer, morel mushrooms, lamb, veal sweetbreads, and chili dogs
Julie Alpers, Jeff’s business partner and wife, has over 20 years of business experience having worked at American Express, Organic Online, Time Inc, Martha Stewart Living, and the Dachis Group in Austin. Julie focuses on marketing, proposals, and event coordination – allowing Jeff to concentrate on menu development and creating great food.
Julie’s favorite foods include: sunchokes, sushi, brussel sprouts, a cold glass of vino verde, and any kind of smoked fish.
